Tamarindo Sportfishing 35′ Carolina Classic Details

Full Day: This 9 hour excursion is for fishermen that want to go after Marlin or Sailfish. We might start off fishing on the reef and then going offshore or we start running immediately to get where the big fish are. It includes ice, bait bottled water, beers, soft drinks, snacks, fresh fruits and lunch.

Half Day: The duration of this trip is 5 hours and is usually an inshore fishing trip out on our local reef located about 4 miles SSW of Tamarindo Beach. The targets are Red Snapper, Rooster Fish, Dorado (Mahi Mahi) and Wahoo but occasionally we do hook up a Sailfish, Marlin or Yellow fin Tuna. Includes ice, bait, bottled water, beers, soft drinks, snacks and fresh fruits.

3/4 Day: On this 7 hour fishing trip we mainly target the large fish such as Sailfish and Marlin. Includes Ice, bait, bottled water, beers, soft drinks, snacks, fresh fruits and lunch.

You can keep your fish! There is a strict catch and release policy on billfish

Meeting Times

Meeting Point: In front of El Chiringuito Restaurant on the beach in Tamarindo

Half Day: 7:00 am – 12:00 pm

3/4 Day: 7:00 am – 2:00 pm

Full Day: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm

Special Notes

You can keep your fish! There is a strict catch and release policy on billfish
Edible species such as Dorado, Wahoo, Tuna, Snapper, and more, will be filleted by your mates on board, at no additional charge.
Costa Rica requires that all anglers purchase and carry a valid Costa Rica fishing license. You will be required to purchase your Costa Rica fishing license from the INCOPESCA and it costs $15 per person.
We operate this tour rain or shine! If weather is severe, we may cancel and you will be given a refund or you may reschedule.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations for any or all segments of your trip, for any reason, must be made NO LATER than 30 days from the scheduled date of arrival to qualify for a full refund of your deposit.
Cancellations within this 30 day time frame will render your deposit Non-Refundable.
If for any reason we need to cancel your reservation, you will be offered an alternative date, boat, or option. If you are unable to accept an alternative, a full refund will be issued for that tour.
