Tamarindo Fishing Details

On the 4 hour half day trip we stay inshore and look for any kind of action. We fish submerged rock formations for grouper, snapper, amberjack. There is also lots of surface action with jacks, mackerels, dorado, maybe wahoo and tuna: keeping everyone busy and catching fish for dinner.

For those who prefer to go offshore, but don’t want to be on the water for 8 hours, a 6 hour 3/4 day trip is a great option. There is opportunity to combine a quick pass offshore with time to catch your dinner.

You can keep your fish! **There is a strict catch and release policy on billfish**

Costa Rica requires all anglers to have a fishing license.The cost is $15 per person for an 8 day license. Detailed instructions on how to navigate the Incopesca website will be sent to you when reserving.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel free of charge up to 2 Days before start of the tour.
Cancellations less than 2 Days before the start of the tour will be subject to a 50% cancellation charge. Extreme cases are taken into consideration.
