Beachfront entrance to Claudio & Gloria’s Restaurant, Coco Beach. 

The pick up and drop-off are included if you’re staying in nearby beaches such as Ocotal, Hermosa & Panama. If you’re staying at RIU hotels, there’s an additional $60 transportation fee. Other hotels in the Papagayo Peninsula, such as Four Seasons, Secrets, Andaz & Planet Hollywood, there’s an additional $90 transportation fee.

Pick ups and drop-off fees include transportation for up to 4 people. It will be an additional $10 per extra person.

Begin your day aboard Kuna Vela Private Sailing Coco Beach! Come sail the Gulf of Papagayo and enjoy the warm Costa Rican water and maritime life as you snorkel through interesting coves alongside our expert snorkel guide, visit secluded beaches and relax aboard our 47 ft Monohull.

We alternate between many popular coves and beaches to provide our guests with the best sailing and snorkeling in Playas del Coco depending on the wind and weather. After snorkeling and beach time, you’ll enjoy delicious snacks and finger foods, prepared daily on the boat, as we sail back to Playas del Coco and enjoy the sunset.

Depending on the time of year, it’s likely you’ll see sea turtles, dolphins, rays, and even whales! This is one of the things that makes sailing in Costa Rica an unforgettable adventure. Complete your day with a relaxing sunset cruise along Papagayo Peninsula and enjoy the view of beautiful colors in the sky as the sun goes down.

This Private Sailing departs and returns to Playas del Coco, Guanacaste. Kuna Vela is family-friendly; we welcome guests of all ages on board.
