Isla Tortuga Tour from Monteverde
We will start the day by taking you on a 45 minutes boat ride along the Puntarenas coast with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the beautiful landscape of the Nicoya Peninsula. During the boat ride, most of the time, you will be able to see cheerful dolphins. Our first stop will be at Negritos Island a wildlife Refuge where a family of spider monkeys lives.
Once we get to the paradisiaca Isla Tortuga we will anchor on the best point for Snorkeling. The Grand rock reef is surrounded by crystalline and calm waters, during the Snorkeling tour you will see lobsters, Needlefish, Angelfish, Porcupinefish, Morays, octopus, and many more marine fauna.
After the amazing snorkeling experience, our captain will take you to the wonderful white sand beach of Tortuga Island where soft drinks and fruits of the seasons will be waiting for while the lunch is ready. For lunch, our cook serves fresh BBQ fish (yellowfin tuna fillet) or chicken, with rice, vegetables, green salad, beans and green patacon. Also we have available veggie, gluten free and pescatarian lunch.
After lunch, the afternoon will be yours to enjoy the beauties of this incredible Island.
Pick Up Time from Monteverde
We start to pick up at 6:00 am
SELF DRIVE: Meet us at Restaurante El Mirador del Capitan, Puntarenas at 8:00 am
Special Notes
- Alcoholic drinks are not included
- Child rates: from 6 to 11 years old (Toddlers and kids under 5 years old don’t pay).
- You can also visit us in our offices in Jaco downtown.
- There is a minimum required of 4 people us to operate the tour, we will let you know if we’re having issues with it
- We are not responsible for any lost or forgotten items in our Boats or land transport units.
- We reserve the right to refuse passengers on the boats or shuttle vans if the passenger is under the influence of alcohol or drugs or has inappropriate behavior.
- All passengers must follow captain’s order during the boat sail.
Cancellation Policy
- For really bad weather or Sea conditions, like strong storms or windy time.
- If the minimum is not met, we’ll need to cancel the tour
- For full refund visitor must required the cancellation of the tour 24 hour before the beginning of the tour. Cut time 7:00 am.
