Hacienda Guachipelin Adventure Volcano Combo Tour Itinerary

Ziplining

First you will strap into your harness and for the especially dynamic ziplining course! The course is undeniably thrilling, leading through a steep canyon and then over a turbulent river. The course includes a zipline, rappel and rock climb, as well as cross hanging bridges and a Tarzan swing. During the adventure you will encounter 8 zip line cables, 18 platforms, a climbing wall and a hanging bridge, which make for an altogether exhilarating experience.

Horseback Riding

After ziplining, you will return to the tour base to prepare for a 45-minute horseback ride showcasing the surprisingly lush natural landscape surrounding Hacienda Guachipelin. The trail leads through significantly diverse rainforest terrain where you’ll undoubtedly create unforgettable memories.

River Tubing

Following the ride, you will prepare for your river tubing adventure at the Hacienda Guachipelin changing rooms. Thereupon, you will receive a short briefing about river safety. Afterward, it’s just a short walk to the foot of the Victoria Waterfall where the overall spectacular tubing adventure begins. The Rio Colorado’s crystal clear water will send you over 5 kilometers downstream on a particularly delightful ride in your individual rafting tube. Our guides will ride down with you and ensure your ride runs smooth and safe.

Buffet Lunch

Once you towel off, our drivers will escort you to your prepared lunch straightaway. Our buffet features a particularly delicious spread, specifically a salad bar, a variety of entrees and sides, dessert bar, fresh juice, coffee and tea. The meal includes options which will certainly satisfy everyone, including diners with vegetarian, gluten free, and vegan diets.

Hacienda Guachipelin Hot Springs & Volcanic Mud Bath

Lastly, you will relax in the nearby Rio Negro Hot Springs, where our drivers will escort you. Surrounded by significantly striking forest, the hot springs feature ten pools with thermal waters heated naturally by the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano. The river flows through the pools, constantly refilling them with particularly clear mineral water water. In addition to the soak, you’re also welcome to treat yourself to a volcanic mud bath, since the clay mud at the hot springs is renowned for exfoliating properties. Give yourself a spa-like masque, then take a refreshing rinse and you will surely feel the difference on your skin.
