Bring on the adrenaline with the class 3 rafting trip on the Sarapiqui River! The Sarapiqui River area is famous for its lush jungle scenery. As soon as you’re fitted with safety gear and instructions, you’ll hit the Sarapiqui river and fly down rolling rapids while your guide directs the raft and calls out directions… “Paddle Hard!” “Right Paddle!” “Back Paddle!” “Get Down!”
Duck, dodge, paddle, and laugh your way down the river as your heart races and your eyes dance with excitement! A photographer will be around to catch the best action shots as your river adventure unfolds.
About half way down this incredible Costa Rica river, enjoy a refreshing tropical fruit snack, relax with the rest of the group, go for a swim, or just take in the rushing waters around you! The birdwatching opportunities in the afternoon are amazing, so you’ll also have the chance to spot a variety of interesting birds.
Finish the day with a delicious traditional meal at our own restaurant The Red Eyed Frog right on the side of the river before heading back to your hotel on our comfortable air-conditioned van with FREE WiFi.

- Dry bags are available for purchase if you would like to bring a camera
- For reasons beyond our control (climate, river levels, etc.), we may change to a more-suitable tour with an equal or similar adventure-appeal or offer other tour options so you don’t miss out on a fun day in Costa Rica. We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to unfavorable conditions & will only run a tour according to our policies. Full refund is given if (on rare occasion) no tour is run. This adventure involves some inherent risk and physical exertion, so you must be in good physical condition!

- In effort to eliminate single use plastic bottles on our tours, please bring a reusable water bottle. We have large water containers to refill them. We will provide one for you if you do not have one!
Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before start of the tour.
- Cancellations less than 48 hours before the start of the tour will be subject to a 100% cancellation charge. Extreme cases are taken into consideration.
